Phlebotomy, PRP & PRF Training (2 Days)

Overview

This comprehensive 2-day Regenerative Aesthetics Programme provides in-depth theoretical learning and extensive hands-on practical training in Anatomy & Physiology Level 3, Phlebotomy (Venepuncture), Microneedling, Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF).

Designed for aesthetic practitioners, beauty professionals, healthcare professionals and individuals looking to expand into regenerative aesthetics, this programme combines five qualifications within one structured training pathway.

Prior to attending the practical training days, delegates will receive access to our online learning portal to complete the Anatomy & Physiology Level 3 pre-study programme. This essential foundation provides a thorough understanding of facial anatomy, skin structure, wound healing, infection control, consultation procedures and treatment planning, ensuring delegates arrive fully prepared for the practical training.

Phlebotomy training is a mandatory prerequisite before learning PRP and PRF techniques, as safe and effective blood collection is essential for regenerative treatments.

Course Structure & Content

Day 1 – Phlebotomy & Microneedling

The first day focuses on Phlebotomy (Venepuncture) and Microneedling. The morning session covers the theory required to safely and effectively perform both treatments, while the afternoon session is dedicated to practical training and supervised hands-on experience.

Phlebotomy is the process of making a puncture in a vein, typically in the arm, to draw blood. It is a valuable skill within aesthetics, healthcare and medical practice. This training equips delegates with the knowledge and confidence to perform blood collection safely and effectively.

Topics covered include anatomy and physiology of the circulatory system, infection control and aseptic techniques, equipment and needle selection, blood collection methods, handling and processing blood samples, prevention of complications, consultation procedures and safe practice.

Microneedling training covers skin anatomy, treatment indications, contraindications, consultation procedures, treatment protocols, collagen stimulation, skin rejuvenation and combination therapies.

Practical training includes blood collection techniques, vein selection, supervised blood draws, microneedling procedures, infection control, sharps disposal and live model treatments.

Day 2 – PRP & PRF Therapy

Following successful completion of Phlebotomy training, delegates progress to Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) therapy, often referred to as regenerative aesthetic treatments.

PRP and PRF utilise autologous platelets and growth factors derived from the patient’s own blood to support skin rejuvenation, collagen production, hair restoration and tissue regeneration.

The morning theory session covers the science behind PRP and PRF, the differences between both treatments, centrifuge protocols, blood processing, growth factors, treatment planning, patient consultation, contraindications, safety protocols and aftercare.

Clinical applications include facial rejuvenation, hair restoration, collagen stimulation, skin quality improvement, anti-ageing treatments, wound healing and regenerative medicine.

The afternoon practical session provides extensive hands-on training using live models. Delegates will perform blood collection, centrifuge preparation, PRP and PRF preparation and treatment application under expert supervision.

Practical training includes PRP and PRF preparation, injection techniques, mesotherapy techniques, microneedling combination treatments and safe application techniques for the face, scalp and body.

What You Will Receive

Upon successful completion, delegates will receive certification in:

Anatomy & Physiology Level 3

Phlebotomy

Microneedling

PRP

PRF

This programme provides five qualifications within one course and is fully CPD accredited and insurable.

Why Take This Course?

This programme combines five highly sought-after qualifications within one structured training pathway. Delegates benefit from extensive practical training, live model experience, small group teaching and ongoing support after completion.

PRP and PRF treatments continue to grow in popularity due to their regenerative benefits, strong profitability and natural approach to skin and hair rejuvenation. Combined with Phlebotomy and Microneedling, these skills provide a valuable addition to any aesthetics practice.

Who Can Enrol?

Suitable for aesthetic practitioners, beauty therapists, healthcare professionals and individuals looking to enter the aesthetics industry.

No previous experience is required.

Please note that this course is not suitable for individuals with severe needle phobia, as delegates will participate in blood collection practical sessions.

Includes online Anatomy & Physiology Level 3 pre-study, live models, practical training, certification and ongoing support.

Model Requirement

To maximise hands-on experience during the practical sessions, delegates are required to bring a minimum of 1 model and are strongly encouraged to bring 2 models for the PRP and PRF practical training. This ensures adequate practical experience across a variety of treatment areas and allows delegates to gain the maximum benefit from the course.
